As educators and parents it is our goal to help protect our children from negative media. As a group we learned that just being able to communicate to our children is so important. In the classroom students are able to state their opinions and post them instantly to a statement given on a blog.

Blogging is a great source for educators to communicate with parents, students, and the world. Students are able to see postings and respond back. Even if a child is miles away from school they are able to collobrate with other students. Homework that was missed, or leaving a question for the teacher, blogging is a great way to reach out to each other.
